i just installed an aux input in my vintage factory am radio!
i found the info online, works like a charm.
my 63 corvair has the stock am radio, so naturally i wanted to get a better stereo in there. there were several problems with putting a newer stereo in and the speaker placement is pretty limited unless i convert the backseat into a speaker box; i have kids, so that isn't an option. anyway, i found a way to keep the stock radio and listen to my ipod through it. i'm pretty excited that i was able to do it without destroying the radio.
here's the link in case anyone would like to try the same thing.
